Cecilia Waldron took ownership of the Towne Cleaners in 2006, as an entrepreneur and vast background in event planning; Cecilia saw the need for business owners in Brooklin to unify and become a strong business community. Cecile Deriet and her husband have lived in the community for 23 years and own a local construction company. She also felt the need for networking between business owners and to work together towards a common goal. With that in mind C&C Connections was created in January 2008. Their plan was to share this vision with other business owners to create a viable and visible economy in Brooklin. To achieve this they create Networking and Promotional opportunities for all local businesses; store-front or home-based. Their goal is to work in a fun and friendly environment where strong personal and business relationships are created. Networking is a give and take experience; one that both parties will benefit from, and it gives the greatest benefit, that is, to become aware of each other.
